This giant boulder is a type of rock called conglomerate. It was formed over a billion years ago. Fast moving water picked up and carried the pebbles that you can see inside the rock, rounding them as they travelled. Where they were deposited into big piles they were “glued” together and formed solid rock-Isn’t nature grand!
